Coronavirus tracker: California reported 437 new cases and 10 new deaths, June 6

Jun. 7—In California, 437 new cases of the coronavirus were reported Sunday, June 6, according to end-of-day totals on public health websites, bringing the total number of cases so far to 3,767,182.

There were 10 new deaths reported statewide Sunday, for a total of 62,705 people who have died from COVID-19.

The state reported 34 fewer hospitalizations from the previous day, bringing the number of hospitalizations of those infected with the coronavirus to 1,275.

According to the California Department of Public Health, 37.9 million vaccine doses have been administered in the state and 44.2% of residents were fully vaccinated as of Sunday.
