Banner Health to offer Greeley Stampede vouchers for COVID-19 vaccine recipients

Jun. 10—Banner Health and the Greeley Stampede have teamed up to offer vouchers at the upcoming Stampede for people who receive a COVID-19 vaccine from the health care system.

Starting June 14, people who receive a Pfizer vaccine from Banner may in return receive a voucher for rodeo tickets or a beverage. The Stampede runs June 24-July 4 with the first rodeo on June 25.

The Centers for Disease Control recommends the COVID-19 vaccine for everyone 12 and older. Children 12-17 must have a parent present. Go to bannerhealth.com for more information.

Vaccines will be offered through a drive-up clinic June 14-23 at North Colorado Medical Center, 1801 16th St., in Greeley. The clinic will be held outside Entrance 6 on the hospital's east side. Recipients will be given a voucher valued at $30 for two rodeo tickets. During the Stampede, recipients can get a vaccine and receive a voucher for a free beverage. Both are valid while supplies last.

The vaccine schedule is as follows:

* 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 14;

* 4-6 p.m. Thursday, June 17;

* 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 23.

Vaccines will be administered at the Buckle Club during the Stampede at the following times:

* 12-2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 26;

* 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 28;

* 5-7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 1;

* 12-2:30 p.m. Saturday, July 3.

There will be a 15- to 30-minute waiting period after receiving the vaccine. There is no need for pre-registration. You will be informed of the date of the second dose, which will also be available on a walk-in basis at the Weld County Clerk and Recorder Building, 1250 H St., in Greeley.
