Ontario County Public Health: 29 new COVID-19 cases Monday

HOPEWELL — Ontario County Public Health is reporting 29 new COVID-19 community cases as of 2:30 p.m. Monday, including four people under the age of 18.

Twelve recoveries were reported Oct. 18.

Since the start of the pandemic, 9,320 Ontario County residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19; 122 people have died and 8,940 people have recovered.

Ontario County remains in the High category for COVID-19 transmission, which is the highest level, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
