Ontario County Public Health: 24 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday

HOPEWELL — Ontario County Public Health is reporting 24 new COVID-19 community cases, including five people under the age of 18, as of 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Health officials also report 54 recoveries Oct. 19.

Since the start of the pandemic, 9,343 Ontario County residents have been diagnosed with COVID-19; 122 people have died and 8,994 people have recovered.

Ontario County remains in the High category for COVID-19 transmission, which is the highest level, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
