Nov. 10--Wednesday is Veterans Day, the annual commemoration of the service and sacrifices veterans made for the country.

Even in the time of COVID-19, businesses have found ways to say thank you to veterans and active duty military members.

--All things Jerky, Grand Chute. Free jerky on Wednesday to military members past or present with ID.

--A&W Restaurants, all locations. Free combo meal to veterans and active military with ID on Wednesday. Carryout or drive-thru only.

--Bagelicious, Appleton. Free bagel with cream cheese or bagel sandwich with drink for veterans. Offer good from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.

--Buffalo Wild Wings, all locations. Free order of 10 boneless wings and fries for all past and present armed services members with military ID on Wednesday. Dine-in or takeout.

--Chico's Café, Combined Locks. Free short stack of pancakes and coffee on Wednesday with military ID.

--Cinder's, both locations. 50% off meals for veterans on Wednesday

--Cobblestone Creek, Brillion. Up to $10 off veterans meals between 4-8 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. (Nov. 12-15)

--EAA Aviation Center, Oshkosh. Free admission to the museum on Wednesday for veterans and active duty military.

--Eyemart Express, Appleton. 20% discount on eyewear for veterans, active-duty military and their families everyday.

--Festival Foods, Appleton, Green Bay, Neenah. Free package of food products worth nearly $35 with a $20 minimum purchase. Military ID required. Valid Wednesday while quantities last.

--Ground Round Grill & Bar, Neenah. Free meal for veterans and active duty members on Wednesday. Dine-in or carry out.

--Mark's East Side, Appleton. Free to-go meals, drive-thru only, for veterans with ID. Starts at 2 p.m. on Wednesday and lasts until the 400 prepared meals run out.

--NewStyle Salons, all Fox Cities locations. Free haircuts for all military personnel with ID on Wednesday.

--Old Glory Cafe, Kimberly. Veterans get a 10 percent discount every day.

--Old Glory Honor Flight office, 4650 W. Spencer St., Grand Chute. Chick-fil-A donated chicken sandwiches for the first 250 veterans in drive-up line at the Old Glory tent from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday. See Old Glory's Facebook page for traffic routing map.

--Red Lobster, Grand Chute. Free appetizer or dessert with military ID on Wednesday.

--The StoneYard Food & Spirits, Appleton northside or Greenville locations. Free sandwich or entree on Wednesday with military ID.
